Auxiliary information, adding or editing a note
Right-click on an object in the JewelExplorer or in the active view and select Auxiliary information > Add > Note from the context menu.
Depending on the selected object to which you are adding the note, the options on this form can vary.
You can add different types of notes. Each type has its own icon and color, so you can easily recognize what type of notes are added to the objects in your solution.
- Title Upon opening the form, the default name that is already filled in is 'Information'. This name is reflecting the note type that is selected. If you want, you can replace this text with your own text. If you leave it like it is, it will update according to the selected note type.
- Note type Select what kind of information you are providing by selecting one of the available options from the drop-down list. Each type has its own color and its own icon, which will also be used when displaying your auxiliary data in the 3D View, 2D View or Well View.
- Depth scale Select which depth scale to use. Select from MD, TVDSS or TVD.
- Depth Enter the depth at which you want to add the note. When you are displaying your auxiliary data, it will be visible at this depth.
- Text Use this text box to list all the information that is needed for the note.
- Click OK to save your settings, link the note and close the form.
